It feels a little ridiculous to be hanging out in a library when she works in a bookstore, though Dani knows that there's no real reason for it. New Leaf does get some used textbooks and the like on occasion, but there's no way of predicting what might come into stock at any given time, and she certainly can't guarantee that they'd have what she needs for class. Besides, even if it's not quite being social, doing some work here seems a little better than using it as an excuse to hole up in her apartment. She doesn't really need more of those than she gives herself already. It's nice, anyway, getting back to school, however daunting. At least no one here knows about what happened back home, giving her a chance to start fresh, as long as she can stay out of her own head long enough to do so.
Mostly, unless she runs into a classmate or someone else looking at books that she's familiar with — or, in some cases, familiar with analogous versions of — she keeps to herself. She can't quite help saying something, though, when she spots someone who looks distinctly out of place and probably a little lost rounding a corner in an out of the way section of psych books. The few she'd been looking for nearly forgotten in her arms, she furrows her brow, giving him a skeptical look. "Are... you looking for something?"
