John has taken care of him once before under similar conditions; then, he'd had to practically drag Martin home. Now he's better placed to fuss over him, and Martin can't begrudge him that.

He sighs, then pulls away to cough again, an effort that only exhausts him further. "Thanks for letting me sleep," he mumbles, then squints up at John again. "Will have to dock you for insubordination, though."
